गुरौ प्राप्ते

कदाचित् केनचित् तरुणेन शिष्यत्वेन स्वीकर्तुं गुरुः प्रार्थितः । शताधिकाः शिष्याः आश्रमे सन्ति इत्यतः तन्निराकरोति गुरुः । यत्किमपि कार्यं करोमि इति यदा वदाति तदा पाकशालायां पेषणादिकार्यं कुरु इति गुरुः वदति । बहूनां वर्षाणाम् अनन्तरं यदा गुरोः अन्तिमकालः सन्निहितः, शिष्यान् अहूय प्राप्तस्य शिक्षणस्य सारं लिखन्तु इति गुरुः वदति । आगच्छन्तु शृण्मः यत् शिष्याः किं किं अलिखन् ? अपि च सः पेषणकार्यनिरतः शिष्यः किं अलिखत् येन गुरुः सन्तुष्टः भूत्वा तमेव आश्रमस्य उत्तराधिकारिणम् अकरोत् इति ।

A young man requested to become a disciple, but the teacher, already having many disciples, refused. The young man insisted and was assigned kitchen work. Years later, as the teacher's end neared, he asked the disciples to write the essence of his teachings. One disciple, who had worked in the kitchen, wrote something that pleased the teacher, who then made him the heir to the ashram.

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
