Jesus Was Tempted Too

John talks about Hebrews 4 where we read that Jesus was tempted too. This should be an encouragement for all of us to know Jesus can empathize with us as we are also tempted.

From the Eagle Community Church of Christ in Mont Belvieu, TX. John Gunter talks about Hebrews 4:14-16 where we read how Jesus was also tempted, and because of his temptation, he can empathize with us as we are tempted. Sometimes it may not feel like Jesus struggled in life like we do. Many people feel so down about their sins, they can feel like isolated failures. This should not be the case. Scripture talks about how we all sin and fall short of what God desires for us. However, scripture tells us this does not put an end to us. Jesus knows what it is like to live life on earth and to be tempted. Hopefully, this sermon helps our view of who God is and how he sees us.
