Rick: Hello and welcome to Dutch Dialogues by Dutch Fluency! I'm Rick, and today Emma, Sophie and I are sitting at home talking about something we all use every single day on our phones and computers. It's pretty interesting actually, so stick around!
Rick: "Hé! Moet je horen!"
Emma: "Wat nu weer, Rick?"
Sophie: "Rick heeft nieuws. Weer."
Rick: "Nee, dit is echt gek."
Emma: "Oké. Vertel dan."
Rick: "De Paralympische Spelen. Vandaag!"
Sophie: "Oh ja? Echt waar?"
Rick: "Ja! De laatste dag!"
Emma: "Oh, interessant!"
Rick: "Nee maar serieus. Echt cool."
Sophie: "Mm-hmm. En verder?"
Rick: "Ik lees het op NOS."
Emma: "Natuurlijk. NOS. Altijd NOS."
Rick: *lacht* "Ja ja, ik weet het."
Sophie: "Rick en zijn NOS. Haha."
Rick: "Tja. Ik ben verslaafd. Oké?"
Emma: "Hoeveel artikelen vandaag, Rick?"
Rick: "Uhm... tien? Twaalf misschien?"
Sophie: "Twaalf! Je bent gek!"
Emma: "Hahaha! Twaalf artikelen!"
Rick: "Maar goed. De spelen dus."
Sophie: "Ja. De atleten zijn sterk."
Emma: "Heel sterk. Echt indrukwekkend."
Rick: "Ja! En zo snel ook!"
Sophie: "Welk land wint?"
Rick: "Uhm... ik weet het niet."
Emma: "Jij weet het niet? Rick?"
Rick: "Hé! Ik lees alles. Bijna."
Sophie: *lacht* "Bijna! Goed excuus!"
Rick: "Maar er is meer nieuws."
Emma: "Oh nee. Meer nieuws."
Sophie: "Wat dan?"
Rick: "Frankrijk. Verkiezingen vandaag."
Emma: "Oh. Lokale verkiezingen?"
Rick: "Ja! Lokale verkiezingen. Precies."
Sophie: "Tja. Politiek. Altijd politiek."
Rick: "De comments online zijn wild."
Emma: "Wild? Hoe wild?"
Rick: "Heel wild. Echt bizar."
Sophie: "Erger dan NOS?"
Rick: "NU.nl is nog erger. Altijd."
Emma: "Hahaha! NU.nl comments. Oh nee."
Rick: "Mensen zijn zo... tja."
Sophie: "Gek?"
Rick: "Ja. Gek. Precies dat woord."
Emma: "Typisch internet, hè?"
Rick: "Typisch Nederland ook, hoor."

Emma: *lacht* "Jullie twee altijd!"
Sophie: "Haha. Ja ja."

Emma: "Ja! Dat is positief."
Sophie: "Eindelijk iets positiefs van Rick."
Rick: "Hé! Ik ben positief!"
Emma: "Soms. Heel soms."
Rick: *lacht* "Oké. Fair enough."
Sophie: "Koffie nog?"
Emma: "Ja! Graag."
Rick: "Ja. En dan meer nieuws."
Sophie: "Nee Rick. Geen nieuws meer."
Emma: "Hahaha! Arme Rick."
Rick: "Tja. Ik probeer het."
Sophie: "Probeer minder. Echt."
Rick: "Maar de comments op NU.nl..."
Emma: "Rick!"
