As broadcast July 7, 2021 with a lot of extra room to roam for you podcast wanderers. Tonight we took a trip to Lebanon, which is really having a terrible time right now amidst one of the worst economic crises of the past two centuries and an ongoing refugee crisis that is literally squeezing the tiny beauty to the breaking point. Thus, we wanted to take a trip and pay tribute to the country of the mighty cedar, and play some tunes new & old from this very gifted but beleaguered nation. Classics from Fairuz & Roger Fakhr dotted with some more modern joints from Mashrau Leila and Soapkills throughout whilst starting with our own tribute to Massive Attack's "Blue Lines," celebrating 30 years since release this year.
