Alison practiced law in New Mexico as a named partner in a law firm she founded. She has also been an Assistant US Attorney representing the Federal Government. She is currently a member of the National Executive Committee, and the Chair of the Mission Reputation and Strategy committee of the National Executive Board of Scouting America.
