Today's episode features The Ohana Hygiene Project.
Ohana Hygiene Project NH is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Manchester, New Hampshire, that provides safe, non-toxic hygiene essentials to over 1,250 students experiencing housing insecurity and financial hardship across six local school districts. Operating under the motto "Because Every Child Is Ohana", the organization fills a critical gap by supplying personal care items that are often excluded from standard food and safety assistance programs. I spoke to the founder, Carmen Leonard. I hope this episode educated and inspired you to get involved. What is Dose of Good?
In a world where we constantly hear about the bad and negative things that go on. I want to highlight the good that is happening around us every day but doesn't get shared or talked about. On this podcast, I will be sharing Non-Profits and the individuals who help make them a success. I would also love to celebrate good people doing good and kind things on their own. If you know of anyone, send them my way!
