SPREADING LIGHT

The primary miracle of Chanukah was with oil, which symbolizes the secrets of the Torah. Yet, the miracle was not simply finding the oil, but actually lighting it. Likewise, we celebrate Chanukah using candles to brighten
the outside.

The revelation of the Torah’s secrets must illuminate a person’s entire existence, his every fiber, and be expressed “outside” in his actions.
