They discuss the importance of foster care in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children who cannot live with their biological families. Phil shares his experience of becoming a foster parent to a sibling group of three teenagers, as well as systemic insight into the current state of the foster care system. Phil also addresses misconceptions about the foster system and children in the system, as well as resources for those who wish to become foster parents.
