But these little outposts of the kingdom are at the beginning stages of upending the global superpower through radical faith and supernatural love. We don’t live in Ancient Rome, and Christianity has had a significant influence in the West. Yet, the message of radical fidelity to Jesus that brought Rome to its knees continues to shake the foundations of evil, and the invitation is the same for us: to re-claim a different way of life as Christ’s alternative for the world.
