Local Record Shop Will Host Nevada City City Council Young Voters’ Candidate Forum / Hometown Hero Joanna Newsom Honored

• All three Nevada City City Council candidates will participate in a Youth Voter Forum tonight at Sans Backup Plan Records in Nevada City.
  Nevada Union High School Senior Graham Gardemeyer is the event organizer and will serve as moderator, asking candidates questions before an open Q&A that gives precedence to young voters and their concerns.
• The City Council of Nevada City designated May 27th, 2026, as “Joanna Newsom Day” in the City of Nevada City.
