Ep.72 On this week's episode Ruston, Louisiana native and Arkansas Razorback legend, Scotty Thurman, joins Will Gates and Arthur Agee on Hoop Dreams The Podcast for Part 1 of their conversation. Scotty hit the game winning three pointer as part of the NCAA Championship team that knocked off Grant Hill and the Duke Blue Devils in the 1994 NCAA Finals. Corliss Williamson and Scotty Thurman were a hard duo to contain under Coach Nolan Richardsons guidance as the Hogs went 16 - 0 at home that season. Scotty went on to play 10 years of pro basketball overseas before going on to work and coach at his alma matter. Scotty now coaches the Senior Boys team at Parkview High School.
