Discovering that you're trans is a long, complicated, confusing process. Chloe was aware that something was... different... about her when she was in kindergarten, but growing up Catholic, being transgender isn't something that's spoken of or allowed. So the process of getting to know yourself takes time. And when you finally come out as transgender, and a trans woman, in the year 2020, mid-quarantine, with a vehemently anti-trans president in Trump... it makes the whole thing a lot harder. Chloe did it the old fashioned way, and fully socially transitioned for over a year before she ever touched a hormone. From there, things just got crazier.

Chloe had literally no idea she was trans. She knew she 'wasn't like the other boys,' and knew she didn't quite fit in anywhere.
