Kristine Alcamo, Creating Communities Beyond Bias, Love Walk, Auburn State Theatre

Tonight, on The Sages Among Us, host Kimberly Ewing chats with Kristine Alcamo. She’s the House Manager of Auburn State Theatre, has been part of Creating Communities Beyond Bias for over 3 years, she also helped with Grass Valley Downtown’s Love Walk this year. As well she’s been instrumental in helping with MLK day festivities locally with the Unity Church in Grass Valley. She’s also an actor & singer and has done local theatre for over 20 years. Tonight, we hear her story on and off the stage here in Nevada County.

What is The Sages Among Us?

Various hosts and guests take a look at people making a difference. It started out as an innovative book about leadership and civic engagement. Four years later, it’s successfully morphed into a weekly KVMR radio series about, you guessed it, leadership and civic engagement.
