The chief priests incite mob behavior at the festival to demand Jesus be crucified. Pilate gives in to please them. Jesus quotes the first part of Psalm 22 just before he dies, then after confirming he is dead his body is put in a tomb with a huge rock blocking the door. Jesus appears first to women after he is raised from the dead.
