Satan hates the work of God. If he can't keep someone from becoming a Christian, he will do all he can to take away their joy of salvation. He stands as the False Accuser to condemn us before the throne of God. But Christ is the True Intercessor and Advocate who pleads our case. Christ violently and justly delivered the mortal wound to Satan's head via the Cross. Because Christ has risen from the dead and ascended into Heaven as our High Priest, we have nothing to fear when Satan accuses us of our sin. Christ is our atonement and our justification forever!
