David brings the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem.

We begin with reading how David is made king and of his actions early in his reign. After establishing his throne and palace, David now brings the Ark of God to Jerusalem. The Ark is in Jerusalem and God made a covenant with David with eternal implications. The victories here expand and secure Israel’s borders, making it safer for the nation.
