Mason is the President and Chief Investment Officer of ValueAct Capital, a San Francisco-based investment firm. Since joining ValueAct in 2001, he’s had the distinction of serving on the boards of a variety of public companies, including Microsoft. This fall, Mason spoke about his work, the ethical considerations that frame it, and how Sidwell Friends has shaped his career.
