Former Montana State defensive lineman Bill Kollar went on to play eight seasons and coach for three decades in the NFL. He retired from football on Sunday. On Tuesday, he found out he would be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
Kollar was a two-time All-American at MSU who went on to become the MVP of the 1974 Senior Bowl and the first player ever out of the Big Sky Conference to be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft.
Skyline Sports covers the Big Sky Conference with more depth and breadth than any news outlet in the country. Check out the Big Sky Breakdown podcast presented by Skyline Sports.
