लक्षितम् अन्यत्

शरीरहीनताकारणतः कश्चन दुर्बलकायजनः भृतिकार्यं न प्राप्नोति स्म । यदा सः देवं प्रार्थितवान् तदा देवः स्वप्ने प्रत्यक्षीभूय 'शिलानोदनं कुरु' इत्यवदत् । मासत्रयम् अतीतं चेदपि तां महाशिलां कम्पयितुम् अपि न शक्तवान् सः । अतः सः खिन्नः जातः । कदाचित् स्वप्ने यदा देवः दृष्टः स्वस्य दौर्भाग्यम् अकथयत् सः जनः । तदा देवः अवदत् 'भवता सा महाशिला कम्पयितुं न शक्या इति जानामि अहम् । किन्तु मासत्रयं यावत् यः नोदनप्रयासः कृतः ततः भवतः दृढाकायता प्राप्ता । अतः अधुना यत्किमपि कार्यं कर्तुं समर्थः भवान्' इति ।

Because of his weak body, a man could not obtain employment. When he prayed to God, the deity appeared in his dream and said: “Strike the great rock.” Even after three months, he was unable to move the rock and became disheartened. Later, when the deity appeared again in his dream, the man expressed his misfortune. The deity replied: “I know you cannot move that great rock. But through your effort of striking it for three months, your body has become strong. Now you are capable of doing any work.”

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
