Dr. Solomon is the Executive Director of the Biblical Counseling Coalition. His passion for biblical counseling was sparked in 1999 during his first biblical counseling course at The Master’s College (now University), where he went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies. Curtis has developed and applied his passion for biblical counseling in church, parachurch, and academic contexts. He holds several advanced degrees from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, including a Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, and Doctor of Philosophy. Curtis is an Air Force veteran and former employee of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. His military background inspired his doctoral research on Post Traumatic Stress. Curtis is certified with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) and serves as Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of Biblical Counseling at
Boyce College. He is the author of
Redeem Your Marriage: Hope for Husbands Who Have Hurt through Pornography and
I Have PTSD: Reorienting After Trauma. He and his wife, Jenny, were married in 2003 and have two delightful sons.
