InterVarsity World Changers

From South Dakota to Urbana to the world and the workplace.

That's what partnering with God in his world-changing work looks like for InterVarsity Alumni Mac Pier and Roy Tinklenberg. After becoming friends through InterVarsity at the University of South Dakota, Mac and Roy's vision for God's Kingdom was forever transformed at Urbana '79 by speakers like Elisabeth Elliot, John Stott, and Billy Graham. Inspired by what they heard, they later went on to found organizations like Movement.org and the Faith and Work Movement, mobilizing and encouraging leaders to carry out highly contextualized ministry in cities and workplaces around the world.

What is InterVarsity World Changers?

We all know that everyone wants to change the world. But what does it mean to be a world changer? During our time in InterVarsity, we learn that a World Changer is defined by a life committed to loving God, his Word, his people, and his purposes. Through the InterVarsity World Changers podcast, we are celebrating stories of God's world-changing work in and through alumni like you. These stories will encourage and inspire you as you join God in your context and continue your own journey as a world changer. Go change that world, Alumni!
