Show Notes

Welcome to Saturday Morning Coffee for July 2, 2022!

Happy Fourth of July from All of Us at Saturday Morning Coffee!!

We feel blessed to bring you a special episode of Saturday Morning Coffee where we honor Independence Day and the Birthday of this Great Nation, the United States of America!  In spite of all our present troubles, it's still the greatest nation on Earth, and the last best hope for freedom and democracy!

Our special guests this week include John Richards with One Nation Coffee, Dave Wilson with Palmetto Family Council, and Savannah Craven.

John Richards with One Nation Coffee joins us to talk about the great coffees offered by One Nation Coffee - some of which we are drinking on the show today, and the great work of the One Nation Foundation, which is supported by our friends at One Nation Coffee.  Every pound of coffee you purchase from One Nation Coffee benefits the work of One Nation Foundation and the work that they are doing to help veterans and first responders, so we invite you to check these great coffees out!  And don't forget to use our special promo code, "Saturday Morning Coffee", for 10% of your order at the One Nation Coffee website.  (www.OneNationCoffee.com)

Dave Wilson with Palmetto Family Council joins us to talk about the stunning and watershed decision that the SCOTUS has issued in the Dobbs case in Mississippi, which returns the issue of abortion to the States, as the federal Constitution does not address the issue.  This is an incredibly important, game-changing decision, that will dramatically impact our lives in the years ahead -- as we finally have a Supreme Court that seems prepared to actually limit itself to litigating those issues that actually are addressed in the Constitution, and to refrain from hearing those matters that are not.  We also discuss the corporations that are assessing their "woke" agendas to simply move this debate from the courtroom to corporate board rooms.  We specifically talk about the recent announcements from Dick's Sporting Goods and other "woke" corporations about providing "women's health" measures -- and specifically abortion services -- to their female employees, regardless of the State that they live in.

Savannah Craven joins us on the program to discuss her travels and the events she's participated in since the Dobbs decision was released.  We discuss how important this decision is and how dramatically the debate in our culture on Life issues has now shifted in just a few short days.

Happy Independence Day, America!  If you can read this, thank a teacher, and a veteran!  And remember that FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!
