Evergreen have reached the FAI Junior Cup Final for the third time after a 3–1 victory over Castlebar Celtic. They’ll play Coachford in the final after the Cork club beat Trim Celtic on penalties in the other semi final today.
Ethan Phelan put Evergreen 1–0 up in the first half, before Xoli Stafford doubled the lead in the 72nd minute.
Mark Cunningham pulled one back for the Mayo men with five minutes remaining, but within a minute Mikey Clifford struck to restore Evergreen’s two‑goal cushion and seal the win for the Kilkenny side.
