संविभज्य सेवनीयम्

काचित् माता पनसफलं कर्तयित्वा फलदलानि पञ्च द्रोणेषु स्थापयति । तस्याः पुत्रः अचिन्तयत् यत् माता मह्यम् एकं द्रोणं ददाति इति । किन्तु एकं द्रोणं भगवते समर्प्य आगच्छ इति वदति माता । अवशिष्टेषु द्रोणत्रयं ज्येष्ठपितृव्यायै कनिष्ठपितृव्यायै प्रतिवेशिन्यै वृद्धायै च दत्त्वा आगच्छ इति वदति । म्लानमुखः बालकः यदा प्रत्यागच्छति तदा अन्तिमद्रोणतः एकं‌ फलदलं पुत्राय ददाति । यदा पुत्रः वदति 'अल्पमेव मह्यं दत्तम्' इति तदा माता बोधयति 'पनसवृक्षः भगवतः अनुग्रहेण प्रवृद्धः । सर्वेभ्यः वितीर्य यत् शिष्येत तदेव सेवनीयम् अस्माभिः । संविभागस्य अनन्तरं सेवनम् इत्येतत् तत्त्वम् अस्माकं जीवनसूत्रं स्यात्' इति ।  एतस्य श्रवणात् तेन बालेन नूतना जीवनदृष्टिः प्राप्ता । सः एव 'आचार्यः विनोबाभावे' ।

A mother once cut a jackfruit and placed its pieces into five baskets. Her son expected one for himself, but she asked him to offer one to God and distribute three to relatives and a neighbor. When he returned disappointed, she gave him a single piece and explained, “What remains after sharing is what we must consume. What is बालमोदिनी?

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
