Hands Off My Podcast: True Crime

MYSTERIOUS DEATHS: The city of Vancouver, British Columbia has a long history of violence against Aboriginal women. In recent years, this violence has been highlighted by the suspicious deaths of three Indigenous women at two hotels: Ashley Machiskinic, Nadine Machiskinic, and Verna Shabaquay. This episode will examine these suspicious deaths and explore why they are part of a larger pattern that is often overlooked when it comes to violence against Aboriginal women in Canada.

IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING:
If you have any information regarding the death of Verna Simard, Ashley Mashikinic, or Nadine Mashikinic, please contact the Vancouver Police Department at (604) 717-3321.
