They interview Professor Will Russell, an environmentalist at San Jose State University. Russell is a leading authority on redwood restoration, and the role of redwood forests in carbon sequestration. He is an expert on how commercial logging increases the threat of wildfires. Much of Russell’s research has been done in Jackson Demonstration State Forest here in Mendocino County.
