Annemieke, a Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Coordinator at Forest Holme Hospice, explains what MND is and how it affects the body and the strategies or treatments recommended for controlling the symptoms.
She discusses some of the misconceptions associated with the disease, the support services available and offers advice to caregivers who are supporting someone with MND.
