The Visibility Podcast

Happy Wednesday!  After a Holiday weekend, I'm not sure what day it is. Anyone else? 🙋🏻‍♀️

I'm also swimming a bit this week.  Anyone else? 🙋🏻‍♀️

Maybe it's time to think about hiring the next best hire.  But where to start. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Don't worry.  I got you. As a brick and mortar or service based business, making that first hire is hard. You haven’t done it before so you have no experience to pull from.

Hiring someone is definitely a process will many steps. In todays episode I dive into the beginning step. How to plan and budget for that first team member. This is where many clients ask me for help. They want to bring someone on but they don’t even know where to start. If that sounds like you, you’re in the right spot.

A Little bit about Melissa Rose

In 2008, three weeks postpartum, Melissa started her business in her basement while her babies were in the pack and play. With her passion, resilience and nose down, she created a business that has become "The Highlight of you Week" for her tribe, her team and her community.

Now a visibility coach for brick and mortar businesses, Melissa guides other boss ladies to a flourishing brick and mortar that provides for their own tribe - creating a legacy for themselves, their family and their community.

Melissa is a super mama of five kiddos, enjoys long hikes or playing in her garden. At the end of the day you can find her snuggling up with a self development book with an ice cold beer.

What is The Visibility Podcast?

The Visibility Podcast is for studio owners who are ready to build a business that works: without working themselves into the ground.

Hosted by dance studio owner, business strategist, and life coach Melissa Rose, this podcast goes beyond simply getting more students through the door. We talk marketing and visibility, of course. But we also talk pricing, profitability, leadership, team building, decision-making, boundaries, and what it really takes to grow a studio that supports the life you want to live.

Because the problem you "think" you have isn’t always the real problem.

With nearly two decades of studio ownership and strategies rooted in a proven framework, Melissa brings real-world experience, practical business strategy, and honest conversations about the very human side of entrepreneurship.

You built your studio because you love what you do. Now let’s make sure the business you built works for you, too.

More clarity. Better decisions. A stronger studio.
