KMOJ's Community Viewpoint

We’re diving into a topic we’ve all encountered at some point: family drama during the holidays. You know what I’m talking about—Auntie’s sly comments, unspoken tensions that linger in the air, or that one cousin who never fails to stir the pot.
The holidays are supposed to be a time of joy, love, and togetherness, but let’s be real: they can sometimes feel like a battlefield of emotions. Fear not! In this episode, we will explore how to make this year’s festivities drama-free, from mending family rifts with humor to setting boundaries that protect your peace. Plus, we’ll sprinkle in a bit of cultural insight and shared laughs to keep things light.
Join us this Saturday, December 14th, at 8 a.m. on 89.9 KMOJ with The4Opinions Live Podcast Talk Show on 89.9 KMOJ, The People's Station The 4 Opinions  as we discuss how to maintain your peace, protect your energy, and maybe even enjoy yourself along the way. So grab your coffee,  settle in, and let’s talk about how to reclaim the holidays for what they’re really about—celebrating love, joy, and good vibes without the drama!"

What is KMOJ's Community Viewpoint?

“KMOJ’s Community Viewpoint” is a podcast series created by KMOJ-89.9 FM Radio “The People’s Station”. These conversations explore issues and perspectives critical to the health and well-being of all members of the communities of color we serve.
Since first going “on the air” in 1976, KMOJ-89.9-FM continues its legacy as the community-oriented station located in Minneapolis, Minnesota airing a predominantly urban adult contemporary format.
“KMOJ’s Community Viewpoint” is one way the station achieves its mission of engaging, supporting and empowering Communities of Color to elevate the way of life of the people of its community and to challenge social and economic disparities, and the persistent consequences of historic racism.
The station call letters, “KMOJ” were inspired by the Swahili word “UMOJA” which means “Unity.” http://kmojfm.com/
