Listeners, we are back this week with Dr. Rocio Rosales Meza.
Dr. Rocio is a Xicana Indigenous woman and mama. She is an intuitive, an energy worker, and a coach facilitating mental, emotional, and spiritual healing to Black, Indigenous, women of color from a decolonial perspective. She is the first generation born on this side of the colonial border. Her parents are “immigrants” and her family originates from what is now known as Cuautitlan, Jalisco, Mexico. She was raised in Santa Ana and is committed to her community and working towards collective healing and liberation. She is honored to be used as a vessel for this work by Spirit, her guides, and her ancestors.
This episode is full of wisdom and nuggets of love for you. We explored what it is like to be the first to graduate from school, how Dr. Rocio went to explore a plant-based diet, and how the birth of her child began her spiritual awakening. Dr. Rocio and I talk about why some people get uncomfortable when we talk about colonialism.
