Sisterhood at River Valley Church

In this second half of Chapter 4, James teaches us the believers he was writing to that instead of living for themselves, God's grace is never ending. He reminds them, and us, that submitting and surrendering to the Lordship of Jesus and drawing near to God will in turn bring Him closer to you.

  1. Read James 5:1-12 at least twice in the coming week to prepare for next week’s teaching.  
  2. Journal and expand on what you’ve learned this week and/or take notes of what you’re learning as you read the text and prepare for the coming week in the first half of Chapter 5.
