Please! Don’t Volunteer at Your Church

In this issue of the Church Doctor Report, you will learn why the volunteer concept is not God’s plan. You will see that you don’t have a job at church, but a calling in the Kingdom.

You will come to see that God’s plan for your service in His Kingdom is directly related to the spiritual gifts the Holy Spirit has given you. Once you know your gifts, you will discover your calling. Your calling will energize you. Your gifts will show you God’s plan for your life.

The primary role for church staff is not to do ministry, but to equip God’s people for the work of ministry. This occurs through the six stages of discipling.
