Saw a double rainbow this week. What is that certainty of knowing you're going to see a rainbow? When you say "THIS is rainbow weather?" When you know just the right juxtaposition of forces will result in something uncanny and beautiful? Always trying for those moments here on A Miniature World...are you ready? ready for that certainty? Or at least that hope? Let's stand or sit or lounge or walk or run together for a few hours and watch and LISTEN to new and special music and special features about the Wonder of Birds (today's bird is the white bellbird and Jeff Tweedy talks about wanting to befriend a crow), and the effects of climate change and then more special music. I'm Binnie Klein and so happy to have you near me! Hear like nowhere else...Music from Gabriel Yared, Thao & Tune-Yards, David Bowie, Katia Pojidaeva, Jonathan Bree, Dragonflies, Loren Beri, Blood Orange, Fever Ray, Kosmicho, Odd Little Thrills, Nouvelle Vague & Melanie Pain, Portuga. The Man, Asaf Avidan, Blur, Odesza, Marta & Tricky, Million Moths, Heated Floors, FOLLOW-THROUGH SEGMENT: Genesis, Alice in Chains, Bob Dylan, Roni Alter, Lykki Li, Kaleo, Mother Earth, M83, PJ Harvey, SAULT, WONDER OF BIRDS: Delicate Steve, Kristin Hersh, Underworld, Patti Smith, The Be Good Tanyas, GaiaGram, Adrien Belew, Tweaks, Ofir Ganon, Mo'ti tei, midori jaeger, My Brightest Diamond....NEXT SHOW IS Thursday, August 20!!!!!
