NCSO Honored For Castle Peak Avalanche Response / Grass Valley City Council Votes Down Roundabout

• The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office and its partners were honored by the Nevada County Board of Supervisors for their response effort
  when a group of backcountry skiers and their guides were caught in an avalanche on Feb. 17.
• The City Council voted down the current design of the Downtown Grass Valley Roundabout on Tuesday, favoring a signaled designed instead.
