The Table

Like trumpet call symbolizes royal entry, so Malachi prophesies the coming King Jesus. In the last of the Minor Prophets, Malachi is challenging the people of Judah to have a correct view of God, leading them to prepare for the messiah to come. Much like John the Baptist, this prophet paves the way and points clearly to Jesus.
