Marjorie Herrera Lewis is a trailblazer.  She was the first female newspaper beat writer for the Dallas Cowboys.  And, she is a book author.  She tells the gripping story of Tylene Wilson, a teacher at a school in Brownwood, Texas, in the 1940s when all the men go off to World War II.  And, there is a movie in the making!
