Welcome to today's YouTube For Realtors WALK AND TALK #50- I have so many things going through my head every day about YouTube for Realtors that I just want to get it all out! I get asked so many questions everyday and coach so many agents it's time to answer all of those in depth, on my walk to the gym!

In todays episode I do a deep dive into The 3 Secret TRIGGERS to get More VIEWS on your YouTube Videos. For our 50th episode, my favorite basketball player's number, David Robinson the Admiral for the San Antonio Spurs. We're going to talk a little bit of why David Robinson? And real estate video or YouTube have a few things in common and that is the Admiral. He really hit three different things he was 7 foot one, could dribble, pass, shoot. He was special. Like A lot of real estate agents they buy into programs after seeing somebody claim they can get you more views or subscribers or followers. And they'll have a video on one of their social media platforms that took off or two, or they'll have a lot of followers. But they're not hitting those three different points. And half the time they're not telling you. Or they're not able to tell you how they got the views. This is when I was going through a lot of my early on video training was through these people who were just selling views. And they weren't understanding like the science behind how they got their views right. The three most important aspects of getting more views and you might be like Jackson, you don't teach views Follower subscribers. That's not what I tell you when I sell you on closed homes, right? But you have to get the views. To get the subscribers to get the clients right, and I've learned through backend through analytics and data what those three triggers are now. A lot of times these agents or these digital marketers have a video that blows up and they'll sell you on getting more views. And they're not really going behind the scenes and seeing how they got that a lot of times we've seen this when you were just scrolling through social media. Something grabs your attention.

It's all about thumbnails. You see these thumbnails and they just make you watch it now. I love basketball. Love barbecue. Golfing is like one of my things right now, so if I see a thumbnail with Lebron's face on it or. With the Red X and a golf swing or a big old fatty brisket or something like, typically I click on that thing. And there's algorithms have figured out that that thumbnail is working really well for a lot of people and it starts just blasting it out to a lot of people's accounts. The second thing is scroll time average view durations. How much time are people spending on that content? Super important? Again, when you buy these courses, this is not what they're teaching. They just tell you to go out and shoot some random video and it doesn't work for you. Until you can understand that you need to get people to click it, and then when they click it, they have to watch it. And the third part of that is the engagement. The engagement is the most important part. Obviously you need to get the average view durations up. That's important, but if I filter out my any of my YouTube channels right now by comments and I go over in my analytics and I hit the comment button to filter out my analytics. In descending order from most to least. You can look at the most comments that I get on a video. Look over to the left and it's going to have the most views. So engagement is a super strong indicator. And my goal is teaching you exactly how to do that. I love the behind the scenes thing. I like the data of the analytics because it doesn't lie right. Then I can show you and prove to you. How to get these numbers? How to grow these channels? Because I'm the one who went through all this pain of learning Marketing plans and courses. And so in this Little walk and talk episode I want to just do a deep dive on how to get better click through rates. How to increase those average view durations and ultimately how to get more engagement.
