00:00:00 Speaker: I want you this week to launch out in your faith with me. And I believe by the end of this week, a many, many people that couldn't be reached before will be reached for healing, for deliverance, to be set free, filled with the Holy Spirit. I feel God wants to do something fantastic this week, and I'm believing that every person that comes to the meeting will be changed from glory to glory, from faith to faith. Amen. We're moving on. Hallelujah! So my advice if you want to get blessed or you don't want to get blessed, I should stay at home. But if you want to get blessed, I should pray about coming to every meeting. I'll guarantee you the Lord will be here at every one. But a lot of people have been blessed in the healed, delivered, set free and will be having testimonies later on. Now I want to encourage you. A lot of you are used to giving mental consent to what is being said. And I know, I know immediately when I was praying, I knew you had switched off some people and just at the end, and I was reaching out in faith for a prayer whereby you could receive. You see the the things that we do which are wrong. We don't listen to the prayers. We don't believe them and receive the answer. We're so used to listening and not and sorry, just giving mental consent to things and not receiving. Many of us could be healed just sitting in the meeting. Why at the moment you came into the meeting to the first chorus could set you absolutely free. But we're not used to investing our faith, investing our faith. This is what I'm really getting on about because you see, it's no good giving and giving is not complete unless you receive back from God. Now, if in your giving you receive back from God, then you're in a better position to give next time. That's what's wrong with most of us today. We give and we don't do it in faith as believing. God asks us to give so he can give to us. The only way God God can give to us is to get us to give to him give, and it shall be given unto you. So it's thrilling if you're in the meeting and God says, give, oh, hallelujah, what, Lord? And then he says, five hundred dollars. Hmm. And then I'll pray for those that pass out and things like that. Boy, I've been in the meeting when I've had told to give three figures and that sort of thing. I mean, it shook me up a bit, but my giving is in four figures, and and I praise God that I'm moving on and my spiritual life as it goes forward, so does my giving. I mean, if your givings aren't being on the same level for the last year, there's something wrong with your spiritual life. We always give a dollar, we put a dollar in and that's it. I mean, if it was raining dollars on the way to the meeting, there'd some people would ask for change when they got here. As I said the other night, people talked to me about the dollar doesn't go as far as it used to do. Of course it does. It gets there much quicker. The technical people can work that one out. But this is so important. Don't miss anything. Expect God to hit you when you come through that door. Hallelujah. And you'll get blessed. I want people to. If it kills me this week, I'm going to get somebody blessed. It'll kill me. Praise God. Thank you Lord. Now we're just going to have a word of prayer I want you to receive. Now we receive. And we're going to find out tonight. Tonight how to receive by the word of God. Let's just pray together. Dear father, we are very conscious that you always want to do business. The Lord Jesus Christ was about his father's business. And Lord, we thank you that you want us to begin to receive the things that are freely given to us of God, help us now. Lord, as we begin to believe your word that believing is receiving. Lord, everything that we have believed remains and abides in us. That's the abiding word. So tonight, Lord, we want a word for each person, a word, Lord, for the body, for the mind, for the soul, for the spirit. A living word, Lord, a word that comes directly from you, Lord, so that it sets people free. For the word is the truth. The truth makes us free. Now, Lord, tonight we expect you to speak to every person who's got an open heart. We ask you to do so in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Now, if you have your Bibles, I'm going to start by just reading one verse, and then we shall add a few more to it as we go along in revelation chapter nineteen, Thirteen. Verse thirteen. We'll start at the end and we'll work our way back to the front. There are only sixty six books in the Bible, thirty nine in the Old Testament, twenty seven in the New Testament, written over a period of sixteen hundred years by thirty to forty people, being inspired by God to write the Bible and its three original languages Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. You learned that while you were looking for revelation chapter nineteen. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood, and his name is called not was called, is called the Word of God, and his name is called the Word of God. You also have in John's first epistle there are three that bear witness and one is also the word. Tonight I want to speak about the Word of God and to show you the difference between the written word and the living word, the written word. We call it the logos and the living word. We call it the rhema. The rhema of God, the living word. Two Greek words. Now his name was is called the Word of God. And most of you have read John chapter one. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. How is important is it to receive the Word of God? To receive the Word of God is to receive the Lord himself, to receive the Lord himself. How important is it to receive the word? We live by every word that we receive. Steve, how important is it to receive the Word of God? We grow by as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word that they might grow thereby. You'll find that in one Peter two, verse two. How important is it to receive the Word of God? He sent his word and healed them. How important is it? Once we receive the word of the Lord, we receive the Lord of the word. Now we've just read the law about the Lord of the word, and his name is called. The Word of God and his name is called the Word of God. In the beginning we have God expressing himself or revealing himself in. In the first step, by His word he revealed himself to mankind. By His word. He was already seen by the things that he created. If you would like to turn with me now to just Romans chapter one, verse twenty, for the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. God revealed himself and his and and the, the, the Godhead was revealed in nature itself, in the whole of creation, God revealing himself as the creator. But when God expressed himself as the word, this was really wonderful. He created everything by His Word, and the whole world and world are kept in place by the Word of God. How important is it today to receive a direct word from God? It's a matter of life and death because the Bible says, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, and God only sends His word to fulfill his purpose. He doesn't waste words. That's important. You'll find that preceding word. Um, you'll find it in Luke chapter four, verse four, and also the same verse, Matthew four four. The preceding word. Now when the Spirit of God comes on the written word, it becomes the preceding word. It becomes the word that you live by. Now, a lot of people are not living today. They're not living, and the Word of God is not living in them. The Word of God living in you is to you what you need. Just one word from God is enough to lift you out of your present circumstances. No matter what you're in, it lifts you out of them. It's incredible. Or it keeps you in them, you know it keeps you, not keeps you in the problem, keeps you while you're in the problem. Hallelujah. Now, to give you an example of this, how simple it is. When I was a very young Christian. The first sign of spiritual life was when God gave me a word. When God gave me. God only gives you what you need. He'll only give you what you need. Most people eat regurgitated food. Somebody else's meal. They don't get anything directly from God himself. But I got my first word. And I never forget the thrill. I didn't just get the knowledge of what God said. I got the life. And I never realized then that the Word of God is the vehicle to carry the life from God directly to you, and by believing the word. You retain the knowledge. You then come into the experience of the life and the experience of the life lights up the word as God originally said it. So God reveals to you what he originally meant or said by the spirit. It's incredible, but it's true. So that's a living word. And the Lord Jesus Christ, as we just read in revelation nineteen verse thirteen, was called the Word of God. Now what happened if the first expression we have from God is in the beginning, the word? What's the next outreach from God to us? In verse fourteen of John chapter one and the word. Now listen to it was made flesh and dwelt amongst us, and we beheld his glory, the glory of the only begotten of the father, full of grace and truth. Now here we have God reaching out through His Son. The Living Word and the Living Word was a life, a life. Hallelujah! Now the Lord Jesus Christ then told them there was a difference between the written word and the word that came by the spirit. Now, what I mean by that is simply this. I do not mean that this was not inspired or it's not the Word of God, but the dead letter will not feed you, nor will it make you alive. The Holy Spirit has to come upon the written word before it becomes the preceding word. Then it's the preceding word. Hallelujah. And there is nobody in this world big enough to stop that word when it's the preceding word. Nor is there anybody big enough to overcome it. That word is a victorious Glorious living word by virtue of the fact of who spoke it, the Lord himself. He now feeds you with his mouth from mouth to mouth. The preceding word that comes out of his mouth. So when the scribes and the Pharisees and all the rest were leaning heavily on the letter of the law, Jesus Christ turned round and told them, if you were of my father, you would have received my words. But you have rejected them, so you've rejected him that has sent you. And he said, search the scriptures, for in them you think you've got eternal life. You don't have eternal life in the written word. You have eternal life in the living Word. I am the life Jesus said in John fourteen six. Amen. He said also in John chapter eleven, I am the resurrection and the life. Hallelujah! And Jesus sent himself. How could he send himself? He sent his word and healed them. That word today, folks, has been received by many, many people a living word. You'll notice also in acts chapter ten, Peter was there preaching away. And from verse forty four to the end, and here it comes. And the Holy Ghost fell on all those that heard the word. That's the rhema, the living word. The Holy Ghost fell on them. And what did they get? They got filled with the Spirit of God. God met their needs because they responded to the word. Now it's not everybody can hear the Word of God. It's not everybody can find the Word of God. It's within the ability of every child to do so. But so many of us who have been dependent on a one man ministry, or just one person going to church and getting our meals directly from him. Find it very difficult to receive a word directly from God. Is that not true? It is true. Now we've got to develop. There's nothing wrong with going to and getting something from somebody else's faith and so forth as a meeting like this. But the point is this I don't want you just to get the word of the Lord tonight. I want you to get the Lord of the word. You must remember that when you receive Jesus Christ, you receive the Living Word. You receive a person. You receive a life. Hallelujah. Nothing short, nothing missing. You are. The Bible teaches us in Colossians two verse ten. Complete in him. Isn't that wonderful? Now why is it so vital? The Word of God? Because many of us today don't realize that by searching with our minds, only we can get our minds full of knowledge and have no life. That's true. You can have your mind full of knowledge with no life. Well, why is it so important, then, that we should continue to receive a direct word from God? Because it is God's way of leading us now. How were you born of incorruptible seed? By the Word of God. Well, that's how you're going to continue. We've read it in one Peter two, verse two. Desire the sincere milk of the word that you may grow thereby. Right now we grow by every word, and we live now when it says live. When it says live the Bible. When it says live, it means live in his life. To receive his word and to eat it. That's his flesh, remember? Except you eat my flesh, you have no life in you. I know this is a bit deep for some of you who've coming for the first time, but I think you'll understand when you begin to eat that word. You have the same life, that incorruptible life in you. But it's manifested. You see, it's manifested now. The incredible thing is that when you receive a word from God directly from God. It's against something because it's for something. It's for you, but it's against something. Who is it against? Satan. Every word that is written and every word that is sent is against Satan right now. What happens if I receive that word? The moment I receive that word, I receive the Lord of the word as well as the word of the Lord. Now I have an abiding word. And what does the Bible say about the abiding word? If my words abide in you, you can ask what you will, and it'll be done unto you. But it says also in the same epistle, John's epistle, in the second chapter and the fourteenth verse, it says, young men, you are strong, because the Word of God abideth in you. That's the word that you have believed. And so every word that you have believed abides in you. And what does it say? You are strong because the Word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one. Isn't that terrific? You have overcome the word and every word that God speaks to you, or has already overcome the wicked one. It's already overcome sickness. It's already overcome evil spirits. And he cast out evil spirits with his word. And they said, the scribes and the Pharisees, what a word is this for with power and authority. Where do we read that? In Luke chapter four, verse thirty six. Thank you. Would you look at it just for a moment? This is incredible. Luke four verse thirty six. And they were all amazed and spake among themselves, saying, what a word is this? For with authority and power he commanded the unclean spirits, and they came out. What a word is this? Now every word that comes from God, that comes through you, Satan is subject to it, every single word. He cannot avoid it. He cannot dodge it because God is the sender of that word. And a lot of people say to me, Brother Greenwood, I would really like to advance in my Christian life. Well, the only way to advance in your Christian life is to increase the working of your faith. And faith is made for the Word of God is made for faith. No, it's it's the fuel of faith. It ignites faith and it gives faith. Isn't that wonderful? Just think. Now you say, I want more faith. What you need is more word directly from God. And God will only meet your need. God will only give you that which you can receive. You understand? Good. Now, when you act upon the Word of God, you move from word to word or from faith to faith. Hallelujah. So now faith cometh by hearing and hearing what? The living word. Hearing the word, Not the words. Not reading the book, not reading the Bible. Faith doesn't come that way. Faith comes by receiving the Word of God. So people say to me, why do I emphasize the word? Because it's our foundation for everything, and God will not let His Word return to him void so I can guarantee the results. When you've received the Word of God, the Word of God delivers you from the situation and brings you back to the speaker, the Lord himself. Isn't that wonderful? Amen. Thank you. Glad we've got a few people here that think that's wonderful. Now, I'm very encouraged by that. I remember getting my first word. It was not my first one, but one of my first words. I can remember my first. It was so wonderful to get a word from heaven. Hallelujah! I was in a little Methodist chapel on my way down to the ships. I was, um, doing a. Um. Chaplain work a missionary employed by an organization which the Her Majesty the Queen was the head of. And, um, I was miserable. I was sick, flu, you name it, and I got it. I had enough problems to overload anybody. I was overloaded with problems. You've never been in this experience, so you wouldn't know what I'm talking about. Maybe. But I had the works, believe you, me. And I said to myself as I passed this little Methodist chapel quite early in the morning, there was nobody inside. It was open. And I said to myself, I am not going down to those ships to tell all those men about the peace that I don't have, the joy that I don't have, and all the rest that I don't have. So I went into that little Methodist chapel, and I sat down in the front pew and I said, all right, Lord, I'm not moving from here until you speak to me. And boy, was I miserable. And the whole place was filled with the voice of the Lord, and God spoke and he said, John fourteen. My Bible, John fourteen. John fourteen. I didn't know what no verse, just chapter. John fourteen and I looked down at the beginning of John fourteen and do you know what it said? Let not your heart be troubled. Close the book. I said, thank you, Lord. Hallelujah! I was completely delivered. My sickness, it flew. I don't know what happened. I was delivered, folks. Just the Word of God came in and brought everything with it, brought the works and brought the joy. And then I didn't realize Jeremiah had said it. Years and years ago in Jeremiah fifteen sixteen, thy words were found of me, and I did eat them, and they were the joy and the rejoicing of my heart. Hallelujah! The word is life to all those that find it in Proverbs four twenty two and health to all their flesh. I didn't realize that. Just let not your heart be troubled. Was filled with God. Hallelujah! Glory be to God. Excuse me. Getting excited, but it was wonderful. It was really wonderful. And I went out of there, boy. I went out of there like. Well, David and just left behind Goliath. I just, I, I just knew I went down to those ships and you couldn't. Well, now try and work it out theologically. Let not your heart be troubled. Obviously. Then the heart must have reasons that the reason doesn't know. You see, I believed the word. And then I got the Lord of the word. You've got to believe it. Now, it's so vital today for you to receive a word directly. Otherwise, you're going to have no confidence. That's basically that's basic faith. Faith is confidence in God's word. Just say it again. Faith is confidence in God's Word. Now, folks, in these last days all over the world is flowing. The living word of God. Hallelujah! They had the written word in Jesus name, but he spoke a word directly from his father. You read about it in John chapter twelve, the last couple of verses. I only say that which my father tells me. He gives me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. Now this is so incredible. He lived by listening. He lived by every word his father said. He said, it is my meat to do my father's will. He showed that there was no difficulty in communicating with the father. Then he showed us how. Then he showed us also that his sheep would hear his voice. So it's natural now, folks. We've got to develop again as the body of Christ, as the church develop, hearing the voice of God. We've heard enough voices. We've heard the devil's. We've heard evil spirits, we've heard all sorts of things. But it's about time now. We heard the voice of God. It's time the church begin to sit up and realize that God wants to feed us directly from heaven so that we can be free. The scribes and Pharisees were so dependent on the written word, but this is what it says about the written word. Remember, when the Holy Spirit comes upon this, it becomes the living word. Otherwise, it's just a dead letter and there's a consequence. Even reading it in this sense, if you're just reading it with your mind, not to believe it or not seeking God or not seeking to know God when you're reading it, here's what happens. You are able ministers. Paul writing in two Corinthians chapter three verse six, you're able ministers of the New Testament. He said not of the letter for the letter Killeth but of the spirit, because the spirit giveth life. Now how can the word actually be spirit? Then the living word is. Did you realize that the living Word is spirit? Where do we get that from? Jesus speaking in John six sixty three. He said, the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life. Hallelujah. Amen. Now what we've got to do is get this word, this living word, a word directly from God. And the moment you get a word directly from God, you get the authority and the power and the faith to carry it out. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord. Now the church is living in the day when they can hear from heaven, when God can speak directly to you. How many people in this congregation have heard the audible voice of God? Would you raise your hand, please? Thank you. That's quite a lot of people, and that's increasing all the time to think. Today the people have heard the audible voice of God. It's really wonderful, but it's wonderful to hear that still small voice, isn't it? The day I was miserable and I said to the Lord, I'm miserable, Lord. And he said to me in a lovely, quiet, still voice, in my presence there is fullness of joy. Where are you living? In my feelings. You see which was perfectly true. And then do you know I believed, and I had. Oh, what a joy! I believed what he said. And I was filled with the joy of the Lord. From misery to joy. Only God could do it. Hallelujah! Just think of that. Only God could do it. He lifted me out of the dungeon of despondency and despair into heavenly places, just by believing what he said. In my presence there is fullness of joy. Of course, I heard it before. I knew it before. We all know the scriptures, don't we? And we're still sitting in the misery. We all know that nineteen hundred years ago we were healed, don't we? That's why we're. Most of us are sick. But. But aren't hearers of the word justified? No, no, no, I'm sorry. Not hearers of the word. God never sends his word just to be heard, but to be Acted on its doers of the word that are justified doers. So every time you get a word from God, he wants you to do it. If he says go, don't think how go? It's his problem. How? When he said, go into all the world. Now there's a challenge and you're acting. And you see, this is the point God has to say to you personally, I know it's got written down here. Go into all the world. But if you wait on the Lord, he will speak to you. Yes. From his written word. Yes. He's not going to ignore this. And what he speaks to. You must be in here too. If he does speak to you, he never speaks to you. Contrary to the written word. By the way, that's a confirmation. That's a confirmation. So when God gives you direction or anything else, you'll get confirmation from the written word. But when you move out, it's wonderful because you move out in God's provision. The will of God will never, never take you to a place where his grace is insufficient. He's power enabling, and his provision at hand. God's will covers everything that you could possibly need or anticipate you need. You don't go out with the supply. You go out in the supply. Interesting isn't it? You don't get it first and then you go out. You move out and as you move out, you move into the supply. That's what the disciples did, remember? Take no money with you. Take nothing. Go into all the world and do that. I remember I've been to many, many countries in the world with not enough money to get back. I've ordered my tickets with not enough money to pay for them when they've turned up. So has the money. Praise God! I have gone because God said so. And when they've said, I'm very sorry, but there are no seats and there's no vacancies for the next two days, you couldn't get a plane out of the place. And what did I do? Just went along as usual. No problem there. The only person with a problem is the Lord. So I just arrived with my bags and everything else. Oh, we do have to have a vacancy. Somebody cancelled. Of course, they didn't realize who was really running the airlines. I got smart a long time ago. If I can get God in a spot. Amen. If I can get him in a spot, I love it. I'm the person that the Lord spoke to me and takes a bit of courage sometimes. Or let's face it. I mean, you don't have to be mad to be a Christian, but it sure helps. When God said, go in and have a meal on me in a restaurant and, and and I went in and I had a meal on the Lord. I didn't have any money to pay for food. And I was in a city and I was going to have a compulsory fast. And I spoke to the Lord. I don't think compulsory fasts are on the agenda. Really, I don't mind fasting, but and I this happened years ago when my wife and I first did pioneering work and oh, did God put us through the mill. But when God spoke to us, oh, how our whole outlook was changed. And God said to me, go in and have a meal on me. And only the Lord would have said that to me. And I'll tell you, boy, I got him on the spot. I said Amen when I was in that restaurant. Like for the Lord could change his mind, I suppose. When I was a kid there were many things that I lost and and because I didn't grab them quickly, I was in a family of eight. I had five sisters, you can understand. Thank you for your sympathy. And I had two, two more brothers, and you had to really get in there quickly. By the time you got there, there was only the bones left. And I'll tell you, boy, did our family have an appetite. Wow. So I had to learn to grab things first. And if God says you can have it, I grabbed it first, thanked him for it, didn't worry whether I got it, but I hadn't got it long. As God said it, that was enough. I'd jump out on it. And I learned to act quickly on the Word of God. I only made mistakes when I added something to it, or I thought first to see if I could interpret interpret what God really meant to suit my own purpose. And it hadn't worked. It didn't work out, but the words that God has given me directly have worked out accordingly. Just as he said when God said I was. Here's an example. For instance, um, my family were going to we were all going to Northern Ireland and going right through the north altogether, to the south, where my wife's family lives. And I said to the Lord, well, Lord, what's going to happen? And he spoke to me directly, and he said, there shall be no incident happen to you all the way there and back. There will be no incident. So we returned without incident. It was most unusual. No guards or we didn't see anybody. We didn't hear anything and we had no problem whatsoever. I knew that everything was all right because Jesus was now in the boat. I'd got him there by his word. In other words, everything is all right. Paul said, be of good cheer in the middle of a storm, a shipwreck. Be of good cheer. Don't be ridiculous. You can't say that to people who are just about to go under. No, no. Be of good cheer, for it shall be, even as the angel has told me from the Lord. It will be even as the Lord has said. And so he had the word of the Lord, and that always determines the results. Folks, if you've got a word from God for your family, you can keep the devourer from the door. Now, God showed me this in my life. Every place I got a direct word from him. That word lives and abides forever. That means personally, for my salvation, I have an eternal salvation. Amen. I've got. I was born again of incorruptible seed by the Word of God, which lives and abides forever. So it's going to take me right through to glory. My salvation is resting on what God said. Also, God has a word for everything in your life that Satan can attack. Jesus Christ came to set the people free, and as many as touched him because of what they believed were made perfectly whole. It's incredible, but true. He didn't have to work out whether they should touch him or they shouldn't. He was there, available. Everything that they needed was there in their midst. All they had to do was receive his word or touch him, and they were made perfectly whole. Now, I've got news for you tonight, folks. We know then, by the Word of God, that where two or three are gathered together in his name, he's in the midst. According to Matthew eighteen twenty, the Lord Jesus Christ is in this meeting tonight. He's here just as real as he was nineteen hundred years ago when he healed the sick. And anybody can touch the Lord tonight by just believing that word or any word that he is speaking to you tonight, and by touching him, you can be made completely whole. I have seen a person in the meeting filled with the spirit. I've seen people filled with the spirit just sitting in the meeting because they, the Holy Ghost, fell on all those that heard the word, and he only gave them what they needed. Hallelujah! Some people have got healed. Some people have got saved. I have one man jumped up in the middle of the meeting and said, I've got it, I've got it. What he got, he got his salvation. He saw it. He just got it. He just received it and sat down. He was really thrilled. I saw a man come forward in the meeting and the power of God was so great. There were two girls who came forward and they were screaming because the whole life had just been revealed to them. This is the first time I've ever seen anybody really under the judgment. I've never seen anything like it in my life. It would frighten you to hear them. It's never happened only once or twice before. But it's never happened in a general, in general, in a public meeting. And they were just crying out and they were confessing before God What was what they were doing? And God was dealing with them directly by his spirit. A man came forward, and I was frightened in that meeting to say, boo! I'll tell you, it was one of those meetings. You had to tread very, very carefully. And a man came forward and he stood there. He was possessed, a drug addict, and he had all sorts of problems. Not not saved. He just stood out there in front. He came forward because of the presence of God was so great. He just came out of his seat, came forward. Nobody invited him, and he just stood there. And the first thing that happened, out came the spirits out of him. He came out, he was delivered. He was saved, and he was filled with the Holy Spirit. He went back to his seat, having everything that he needed without any human being putting a hand near him or saying a word to him. That's what my God will do. He'll minister to the depth of your hunger or your need, whatever it might be, when you believe His word. Now. This is it. Tonight. Anybody in this meeting can be healed just while you're listening by believing what God says. This is how we're going to be protected and how we're going to live in these last days. I had a dear lady. I'll never forget it. A minister's wife. I went to this church, and I used to do a lot of this sort of ministry, and I'd been through different aspects of ministry. We called it personal ministry, the ministry of prophet. And I would go, as I got the word of the Lord, I would go to the person, and I've come to the person, and and God gives me the day of death and, and all the rest of it. It's very frightening ministry in one sense. And I'm not seeking here to frighten you. But God gave me the all the details. And I remember, um, the Lord said, go to this church, and I will tell you what I want from you. You are to pray for one that is sick. And I went to the church, and I saw the minister, and I said, I'm come to pray for somebody who's sick in your church. And he said, oh, have I got a list? I said, no, it's not on the list. I said, where is your wife? He said, oh, she she's convalescing. She's very, very ill. Right. That's the person. And as I went, the Lord spoke to me and said, go to my servant. So I was from a group of people I should not be mentioned, who didn't go along with, you know, women ministering in any form. They are not sisters. And they came from Plymouth. And. I got this. The Lord gave me this word. He said, when he said, go to my servant, I queried, servant. He said, yes. Anything that comes into that little fellowship or that church that's new comes by her ministry of prophecy. The revelation that comes into the church came in through prophecy. And the pastor whose ministry it was, that's her husband to confirm it with Scripture would bring it out beautifully in teaching. Establish it in the church. So said, go to my servant. And I'm always thrilled with what what God calls people. He said, go to my beloved. And he said, he is pure before me. God says things. You're known to the Lord by some things. He is pure. It's wonderful, isn't it? Really? And I think it's precious anyway. I went with the word of the Lord, and I said to her, I've got a word from the Lord. Now, this woman, this minister's wife, was a very close to the Lord. She believed that I got a word from the Lord. Do you know what she did? She said, just hold on a moment, Harry. She just prayed. Now, Lord, prepare my heart for what your servant's going to say. Speak, Lord, for thy servant heareth. She opened up her heart to the Lord, and I gave her the word. And as I gave it to her directly from Scripture, a great big lump underneath her heart disappeared. She was completely instantaneously healed by the direct word from God. Folks, I can give you the name and address of the lady in question. It was so wonderful for me personally and I realized what I really carried with me. I carried the Word of God. Do you. Do you know something? What we've been given, folks, think of it for a moment of the word of Almighty God. Now, how does the Bible put it? In two Corinthians chapter five, verse nineteen, there has been given unto you a word of reconciliation, a word that brings people directly. Sorry, brings people back directly to God, a word that brings people back to God, delivered from what is wrong with them. Think that you've got a word for sickness. You've got a word to get people delivered from anything. Today God has given us access. Do you understand? In these last days, by His Holy Spirit to the truth, and the truth is making us free. And what makes you free? Keeps you free. Hallelujah. How I came, how I came to this. And I'm going to be praying in a few moments. How I came to this was very simple. God showed me in a vision. One day I was waiting on my knees for a message for Sunday on a Saturday afternoon, and I was waiting before the Lord. And as I was waiting, the Lord appeared in a vision to me. And he stood there with the Bible opened the one I've got, you know the same. He stood there with the Bible open. So I knew. And in the spirit God the Lord never speaks. Really? Because you know everything. You know everything to detail to feeling what he feels when he says it. It's incredible. I don't know how it's done, but the Lord brings you into how he how he feels when he says what he says. It's incredible. So he appeared before me with the Bible, and this is what came over to me. He didn't say a word. He just looked at me and he said, oh, Harry, if I could find someone to believe it. And I wept and wept and wept till at my stomach was in knots. And I had to ask the Lord to stop it. I that was my reaction. And he said, that's how I feel. I have given my children everything. I've given them so much. But this word only comes alive to your believing. You've got to believe it, to receive it. And by just the knowledge of it doesn't necessarily mean that you've got the truth of it. The truth makes you free. And when you've got the truth, the evidence that you've got it is that you are free. That you are free. The word must take one more step, you understand, to become life. The word was made flesh, and the word must become flesh in your experience to become life to you personally. So when God speaks it, he speaks it for his own complete purpose. And when you receive it, that purpose is complete in you. Tonight, I believe every person here is capable of receiving a word directly from God. Now, that word will give you the faith to act on it and everything that's necessary. I mention it before tonight. I believe you can receive. What area are you attacked in? Does God have a word? Some people are so far away from God, it would take maybe two or three days of fasting and praying before they could hear clearly and shut off all the other voices. I must admit, quite often I am that person. Sometimes I find that the powers of darkness against me. Receiving a direct word are so great in some areas. I have to fast and pray before they lift and God can speak to me clearly or I can hear clearly. Did you realize that you can be under the influence of several things unbelief and doubt and fear. And God doesn't speak to unbelief, doubt, and fear? He's got nothing to say. God has not given us the spirit of fear. But when you're in faith, it's from faith to faith. God speaks to you, and it may take you two days to get rid of your unbelief by fasting. Folks, that's what happened to me quite a few times. And every time I waited on the Lord. God has spoken directly from heaven. And oh, does it feel good to get something directly from God. I receive everything by word first and then by material. God gives me my house by the word he said, you can have your house. Thank you, I received it. I fell on my knees. I received a house while I was on my knees. And praise God we're living in it now. I received my cars. Anything else? Material things by the word of God. Folks, I receive everything once I've got it by the word. And this is where I finish tonight. The Word of God is the evidence to faith. You can put that down. God gave it to me. He said the word is the evidence to faith. The centurion came. For what? He said, speak the word only, Lord. That's the rhema, the living word. Speak the word only. I just want the word Lord. And he took home the healing with the word. Now, folks. Hallelujah! He went home with the results. Not for them. Speak the word only the Word of God was the results to his faith. He'd got the results by the word. And that's how you receive tonight. You receive directly by a word from the Lord. And when you've got that word, you've got the results. That's as far as faith has to go. Receiving the Word of God and God has to go the rest of the way by producing that word. Isn't it wonderful? Hallelujah. Think your whole life can be changed overnight. Your family can be changed. Your church, your fellowship everywhere can be changed. Once you get one word from God, you can hear for other people. Hallelujah. And that can protect other people. It'll protect your family. God can warn you, forewarn you. So now, folks, we've got to begin to live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God so that God can protect us and keep us in health. For the word is health to all your flesh. He men and all God's people said, Amen. Let us pray together. I'm very conscious tonight that many of you, some for the first time, have opened up their believing. And that you see something that you haven't seen before, which is that you have a responsibility to hear from heaven. I got a terrible shock when I spoke to a man who had been filled with the spirit for thirty years. And I asked him to share one thing that God had shared with him personally, and he couldn't tell me. A personal relationship, so deep and so wonderful as ours with the Lord, must not have a communication problem. That's why so many Christians today are so mixed up Because of a lack of communication. Now, tonight I'd like to pray for those personally who would like to begin their spiritual life tonight. Those that are not right with God, who have no spiritual relationship with him. And you would like to begin tonight. I'm going to ask you in a few moments to stand up, and I'm going to pray for every person that is standing. You're in this meeting by divine appointment. I can feel the Spirit of God present in this meeting in a very real way. You're here by divine appointment. God has ordained it that you should come here tonight, and you're here to get right with the Lord first. And God has a program for your life. A lot of people have lived their lives selfishly for themselves, or they've given God a little bit now and then. Folks are very good. Moral life may keep you out of jail, but it won't keep you out of hell. It takes the blood of Jesus Christ to keep us out of hell. There is such a place. It's not for man. God did not make hell for man. He made it for the devil and his angels. But man will go there of his own free will choice. Not because God wants him to go there. God's made his choice for man, and man has to make God's choice his personally. Otherwise it's not. So I'm going to pray for everyone tonight who'd like to get right with God and ask Christ into their lives. I'd like you to stand up now, wherever you are in this meeting. God has brought you here tonight, and I believe this is the beginning, the first step of faith. It'll take courage for some of you. But when you step, stand up tonight, you'll leave behind your fear and a lot of other things that's been bothering you. And you'll know why you're here and where you're going spiritually. There's one person standing.
