Hoop Dreams The Podcast

Will Gates and Arthur Agee sit down in Las Vegas on the court they played on in Chicago, with Dr. Tej Singh, to talk about his new project, the St. Joe's Legacy Foundation and what it means to him and why he moved the gym to Vegas.

Show Notes

Will Gates and Arthur Agee travel to Las Vegas to interview the founder of the St. Joe's Legacy Foundation, vascular surgeon, Dr. Tej Singh. When Will and Arthur's historical former high school, St. Joe's, closed down for good in 2021 Dr. Singh went to work buying the gym floor and all the memorabilia that went along with it and recreating a version of the gym in Las Vegas. Will and Arthur took a trip down memory lane as they sat with Dr. Singh on the very floor featured in the Hoop Dreams Documentary and where they and NBA Hall of Fame guard, Isiah Thomas, used to play basketball. They talked to Dr. Singh about what St. Joe's meant to them all as alumni and what Dr. Singh’s vision is for the St. Joe’s Legacy Foundation.
