Acts 12

Herod appears to hold all the power. James is killed, Peter is imprisoned, and the church can only pray. Then chains fall, prison doors open, and Peter finds the praying believers struggling to believe their prayer has actually been answered. Acts 12 reminds us that earthly power never gets the final word, and even when we cannot predict how God will act, we can keep praying and trust that His work cannot be stopped.

What is One Chapter?

One Chapter is a daily rhythm for people who want to spend more time in Scripture without making it complicated.

Each weekday, we’ll read one chapter of the Bible together and spend a few minutes reflecting on one thought to carry into the day. No seminary degree required. No pressure to have all the answers. Just Scripture, a little space to listen, and an invitation to let what we read shape how we live.
