I mentioned in the last podcast that I'm going to be taking a deeper dive into the effects of the ocean and nature in general on our moods and our health. And suffice to say that there is a sense of awe that comes from being on the beach, looking out over the ocean or on a mountainside, hiking. It's just a sense of being a part of something bigger than us that creates a sense of calm. You couple that with the sounds of the waves and the patterns of these sounds and the winds and the birds flying by. There's just, there's a reason that these sounds are put onto sound machines to help soothe us and help us sleep. There's just a very calming sense about all of it. But it's not just mental, it is physical as well. There are attributes to the ocean water itself that are healing in nature just because of the minerals that are in them.
