Rick: Welcome to Reddit Dialogues by Dutch Fluency! I'm Rick, and today we're sitting down with Maarten and Sophie to talk about something that happened to a parent at the dentist. Let's see what they think about this story.
Rick: Guys, kijk dit eens!
Maarten: Wat is het nu weer?
Rick: Een post op Reddit. Over een tandarts.
Sophie: Jij en je Reddit...
Rick: Nee nee, dit is echt bizar.
Maarten: Oké, wat zegt de post?
Rick: De tandarts rekent veel geld. Maar hij doet niks.
Sophie: Hoe bedoel je?
Rick: De kinderen zijn vijf minuten binnen. Dan zijn ze weer buiten.
Maarten: Vijf minuten? Dat is kort!
Rick: Ja! En de rekening is vierhonderdvijftig euro.
Sophie: Wacht even. Vierhonderdvijftig euro?!
Rick: Ja! Voor drie mensen. En vijftien minuten werk.
Maarten: Dat is echt veel geld.
Sophie: Dat is bizar, ja.
Rick: De OP zegt dat de tandarts niks doet. Maar wel alles schrijft op de factuur.
Maarten: Eh... dat is fraude, toch?
Rick: Ja precies! Dat zeggen de comments ook.
Sophie: De comments? Jij leest ook de comments?
Rick: Natuurlijk! De comments zijn goud, Sophie.
Sophie: Tja, typisch Rick.
Maarten: Maar wacht even. Hoe weet de OP dit?
Rick: Hij checkt de factuur bij de verzekeraar.
Maarten: Slim! Dat doe ik nooit.
Sophie: Ik ook niet. Ik kijk nooit naar de factuur.
Rick: Dat is het probleem! Niemand kijkt.
Maarten: Mm-hmm, klopt.
Sophie: Maar een tandarts doet zoiets toch niet?
Rick: Deze tandarts wel! En hij is nieuw.
Maarten: Nieuw?
Rick: Ja, de praktijk is nu anders. Een nieuw bedrijf.
Sophie: Ah, typisch Nederland.
Maarten: Ja ja, nieuw bedrijf, meer geld.
Rick: Precies! De OP heeft nu 651 upvotes.
Sophie: Wat is een upvote?
Rick: Sophie... echt?
Maarten: Ha! Sophie kent Reddit niet.
Sophie: Ik zit niet de hele dag op Reddit, Rick.
Rick: Het is een like. Maar dan op Reddit.

Rick: Ja! De factuur is echt. De OP heeft foto's.
Sophie: Nou, dan ga ik ook mijn factuur checken.
Maarten: Ik ook! Mijn tandarts is ook nieuw.
Rick: Zie je wel? Reddit is nuttig!
Sophie: Uhm... tja.
Maarten: Echt bizar. Vierhonderdvijftig euro.
Rick: Voor niks!
Sophie: Ik ben nu boos. Op een tandarts die ik niet ken.

Maarten: Ha! Ja precies.
