In this sermon we explored part of 1 Thessalonians chapter two, focusing on themes like love, holiness, and future hope. This message highlights the significance of having mentors and community, comparing them to fathers or coaches who guide and support us. This sermon also emphasized that achieving worthiness on our own isn't possible; instead, the power of Jesus and the Holy Spirit is what enables us to live as God desires. There's a strong focus on recognizing and valuing the mentors God places in our lives as they help us navigate tough times. We are called to seek out and appreciate these figures who help us grow. We're encouraged to be actively involved in kingdom work and reminded of our current role in making disciples and living out our faith. Ultimately, we are invited to let go of our own efforts to prove ourselves and trust in the good news of the Gospel.
