Reading 1 Kings Chapter 8

Solomon arranges for the ark to be brought to the temple. When it gets there, a cloud indicating Yahweh's presence fills the temple. The king then blessed all the congregation of Israel and prayed a beautiful prayer to Yahweh, that is both sadly prophetic of the nation, but full of hope for those who will follow God with all their heart and soul. They all sacrifice and eat a lot for 2 weeks before going home very happy about it all. Read from the World English Bible.
