Show Notes

Having wowed critics with Blue Ruin in 2013 Jeremy Saulnier is back with his new, similarly colour-themed, film - Green Room.

With bigger names in the cast such as Patrick Stewart and Anton Yelchin, Green Room looks like it could be Saulnier's first step towards big scale Hollywood filmmaking. The question is, can Saulnier keep Green Room feeling fresh? Or he moving toward more conventional story telling?

Join Matt & Jon as they discuss the trailer for Green Room. Then - after the film has been released - they return to discuss the feature itself.

What is The PrePost Film Review?

In each episode of The PrePost Film Review hosts Jon Asquith and Matt Stephenson discuss a film over two distinct periods.

First - brief, spoiler free impressions of a trailer upon its release. Followed by a spoiler-filled review recorded months later once the film hits cinemas.

A thoughtful and occasionally funny look at how trailers represent films.
