J Dirom comes from an artistic family. At an early age he "stole" his father's camera and has been pursuing different ways to express himself ever since. That includes being a tattoo artist, directing films, and creating YouTube videos. In this conversation we also talk about martial arts, documentaries, and ghost malls.

What is Creative Block – conversations with artists and creative entrepreneurs from Media Lab YYC?
Kyle Marshall interviews artists and creative entrepreneurs about where they were, where they are, and where they hope to be. Most discussions take place at Media Lab YYC, a studio space in Calgary, where they believe that a creator's value shouldn't be based on their follower count.
