The Prophet of the Still, Small Voice

Last Sunday we centered our thoughts on that grand old man of the Old Testament, Elijah, "The Discouraged Prophet." He was truly an outstanding person in all the pages of scripture. As we sometimes say, "That would be a hard act to follow!" But who was it who followed Elijah? That's our subject for today - - Elisha - - a man who was different in many ways from Elijah, but who had many similarities to another special man, Jesus Christ. It is truly a fascinating story from I Kings, chapter 19. We are glad to have you worship with us today, as we join now the audience gathered at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in Myrtle Beach, SC.

The longtime Chaplain for Ocean Lakes Family Campground has been an inspiration to thousands of campground guests from all over North America. Located on 310 oceanfront acres in Myrtle Beach, SC, Ocean Lakes is one of the largest family-owned campgrounds in the United States and has welcomed travelers for nearly 50 years. The non-denominational Church Service is held in the Recreation Center every Sunday at 9 AM with up to 800 in attendance.
