संसारमोहः

कदाचित् प्रह्लादः वरयाचनसमये भगवन्तं नृसिंहं वदति यत् 'अहम् एकाकी मुक्तः भवितुं न इच्छामि । सर्वान् अपि जीवान् स्वीकृत्य वैकुण्ठं प्रति गमनाय अनुमतिं ददातु' इति । 'त्वमेव सर्वान् पृष्ट्वा ये वैकुण्ठं गन्तुम् इच्छन्ति तान् सर्वान् स्वीकृत्य आगच्छ' इति भगवान् वदति । ततः प्रह्लादः प्रष्टुं गच्छति । ब्राह्मणाः, परिव्राजकाः, राजानः, वणिजः, सेवकाः, पशुपक्षिणः इत्यादयः सर्वे अपि प्रह्लादेन सह वैकुण्ठं प्रति गमनं तिरस्कृतवन्तः । प्रह्लादः निराशतां प्राप्य 'सर्वेऽपि प्राणिनः स्वस्य एव कौटुम्बिकव्यापारे मग्नाः सन्ति । वैकुण्ठं गन्तुं कोऽपि उद्युक्तः नास्ति' इति भगवन्तम् उक्तवान् ।
(“केन्द्रीयसंस्कृतविश्वविद्यालयस्य अष्टादशीयोजनान्तर्गततया एतासां कथानां ध्वनिप्रक्षेपणं क्रियते”)

At the time of seeking a boon, Prahlada said to Lord Narasimha, "I do not wish to be liberated alone. Grant permission for all beings to be accepted and to ascend to Vaikuntha". The Lord replied, "You may ask everyone who wishes to go to Vaikuntha, take all those who agree, and then come". Following this, Prahlada went to inquire. Brahmins, ascetics, kings, merchants, servants, animals, birds, and others—all declined to accompany Prahlada to Vaikuntha. Disheartened, Prahlada expressed to the Lord, "All beings are engrossed in their familial and worldly affairs. No one is willing to take the initiative to ascend to Vaikuntha".

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
