Taking center stage at the 10th Al Dhaid Date Festival, the National Food Factory is showcasing Sharjah’s vision for a stronger, more sustainable agricultural future. Developed by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Mleiha, this pioneering project will transform locally grown produce into high-value products through advanced processing, packaging, storage, and logistics—empowering farmers, supporting food manufacturers, and strengthening the UAE’s food security. With a planned annual production capacity of 5,000 metric tonnes, the National Food Factory is set to connect local agriculture with regional and global markets, creating new opportunities for growth, innovation, and sustainable development.
