From 2014 to 2024, the median price of a 3-bedroom house in Putnam County has increased over 115%. Buying a home is mathematically impossible for the majority of the Upper Cumberland. How can building more homes help bring down demand and cost? How does building a new home in 2025 compare to buying a similar home at the same price point? Is it comparable or are there other factors we need to consider?
